I am a contemporary artist working primarily in ceramics. My practice explores culture and the ways identity is shaped when we live between worlds. As an artist whose kin embodies diverse cultural and racial identities, I work through the tensions of belonging, visibility and difference.

Ceramics carry the imprint of the hand yet undergo irreversible transformation in fire, a material metaphor for culture itself: fragile, enduring, constantly reshaped. I often use processes of repetition, joining and layering to echo the disruptions of migration and the fragile continuity of family inheritance.

While rooted in my personal story, my work extends to broader questions of belonging and the search for identity across generations. My work invites audiences to reflect on their own experiences of movement, memory and cultural negotiation.”
